In order to comprehensively introduce Diponegoro University to high school students in Semarang City, the LP2MP Undip participated in Bidikti 2025, an event organized by SMA Kolese Loyola for two days, Friday–Saturday, September 26–27, 2025.
The event, themed “Igniting Global Excellence,” is one of the school’s annual programs aimed at introducing a wide range of universities in Indonesia and abroad, along with their various study programs, to help students prepare early in choosing majors that align with their passions. The event was officially opened by the Principal of SMA Kolese Loyola Semarang, followed by artistic performances by the students of the school.
As one of the state universities located in Semarang City, Diponegoro University sent a Socialization and Promotion Team consisting of eight members to provide information and insights on various admission pathways, tuition fees, scholarship opportunities, study programs at the Undergraduate, Applied Bachelor, Master’s, Doctoral, and Professional levels, as well as facilities, campus environment, strengths, and achievements of Undip.
Students showed great enthusiasm in visiting the Undip booth, which remained crowded from the beginning to the end of the event. The Undip Sospro Team was highly responsive in providing explanations and answering a wide range of questions from visitors.
The presence of the Undip Socialization Team is expected to help students from SMA Kolese Loyola and other high schools/vocational schools/madrasahs in Semarang determine their higher education pathways accurately and strategically, in accordance with their individual potential—thus supporting a smooth academic journey in university.
Undip’s participation in Bidikti SMA Kolese Loyola 2025 serves as a reflection of its commitment to providing broad access to information regarding educational programs, admission routes, available facilities, and self-development opportunities at Diponegoro University.
